Part of family research is not only knowing who your ancestors are but also the historical events that would have effect their lives and how they lived. Meet Dr. William Roulston, the Chief Researcher at the Ulster Historical Foundation and author of several books on Scots Irish History. At a recent Family History Conference, I had a chance to talk to Dr. Roulston who enjoys walking with some of the delegates from the conference and showing these people the architecture and the landscape that makes up Ulster! Dr. Roulston is also in the process of writing another book on the Hamilton family.
