A windy day at Grianan of Aileach.

Writer: Dave MillerDave Miller

Consider this one of my more humorous moments on this most recent trip to Ireland. After a very informative visit to Derry City, we stopped at the Grianan of Aileach in County Donegal. This hillfort or a fortified refuge sits over 800 feet atop the Greenan mountain. The view was spectacular and my impression was what a great place to do a standup for this blog. What I didn't anticipate were the very windy conditions on top of Greenan mountain. So here's 14 seconds of me talking about what a breathtaking view using a microphone and windsock along with some very gusty winds.

Seriously, the view was incredible and worth stopping by but be sure to hold on to your hat!
