The Public viewing of the Red Book of Ossory

As many of you know, I produce a monthly video podcast called "This Month at the IGSI in conjunction with the Irish Genealogical Society International.

This month, I had an opportunity to talk to the archivist and librarian for the Representative Church Body Library in Dublin, Ireland regarding the book that dates back around 700 years! The book is now on public display for the first time ever and can be seen at St. Canice's Cathedral in Kilkenny, Ireland. Dr. Susan Hood explained the history of the book and what visitors can expect to find when they visit the Cathedral in Kilkenny.

The past episodes including this most recent podcast (Season 3 Episode 5) can be found on the IGSI website www.irishgenealogical.org and on Youtube.com under "This Month at the IGSI!
